This is the candy store in Port Aransas where we bought our bus tickets to Mexico ($35.00 each, round trip). We're pretty excited about it and we might even check out a dentist while we're there, too! (waaay less expensive than in the USA, but excellent care from what we've heard)

Snowy Egret
To the left of this is where I saw the dolphins playing. They were coming right up to and along the retaining wall there! So cool! It was like they were playing with us...maybe they were? It was already quite dark though, so it was hard to see them until they were right on top of us. They made us jump when we heard their blowholes all of a sudden. My camera was not cooperating, so we're going to go back and try to play with them again in the daylight and hope that my camera catches them! We never thought of looking for them at this spot before. Usually we see them playing in the wakes of the big ships that cruise through the channel, but this time I happened to be looking the other way from out on the pier and was very pleasantly surprised, so I quickly walked over there and William came too.
